Athlete Cameos You Might’ve Missed in Happy Gilmore 2

If you haven’t watched Happy Gilmore 2 yet, you’re in for a treat. There were so many surprises, and literally everyone was in it. The casting was so random, which made it a hundred times better. It even had cameos from your favorite athletes, which is something only Adam Sandler can pull off. Here are the cameos that had all the sports girls talking.
Golf - Scottie Scheffler & Nelly Korda
There were so many golfers it was hard to keep up, including Scottie Scheffler and Nelly Korda. Scottie Scheffler played himself and had some of the funniest lines. We got to see another side of the World No. 1, and he did not disappoint. Nelly Korda also made an appearance and portrayed a doctor at Shooter’s mental institution, which was very different from how we normally see her. Golf was the center of the movie, so it was nice to see so many golfers be a part of it.
Football - Travis Kelce
Travis Kelce was a surprise to many when he popped up as a country club waiter. The three-time Super Bowl champ played a snotty server and was a pain for Bad Bunny’s character. Kelce has become widely known since his relationship with Taylor Swift, so it’s surely not the last time you’ll see him on the big screen.
Basketball - Kelsey Plum & Boban Marjanović
Kelsey Plum played a front desk attendant and greeted Happy when he arrived at the golf course. The two-time WNBA champion’s cameo was quick, but at least she got to act with THE Adam Sandler. Boban Marjanović, a fan favorite on and off the court, also had a memorable cameo. He played Drago Larson, the son of Mr. Larson, and was hilarious. But this isn’t his first rodeo. He also acted in Hustle with Adam Sandler and John Wick 3. I’m sure we’ll see more of Boban as he’s a natural on-screen.
Professional Wrestling - Becky Lynch, Nikki Bella, MJF, Bad Bunny
There were also many wrestling stars, including Becky Lynch, Nikki Bella, MJF, and Bad Bunny. Becky Lynch, better known as “The Man,” appeared as Flex, a conceited golfer who goes up against Happy’s team. The 7-time WWE champ and current Intercontinental champion looked just like her in-ring persona and meant business. Nikki Bella also had a small role as Lynch’s caddie. Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF) brought his heel attitude to the film as one of Happy’s sons. The AEW star can clearly act and fit right in with the Gilmore family. Bad Bunny was arguably the breakout star of the movie and played a big role as Oscar - Happy’s caddie. Although he’s an artist, he spent some time in WWE and wrestled at a few big events. He impressed many with his wrestling performances, and now with his acting. Adam Sandler and Bad Bunny were the duo we least expected but wanted more of. I’m sure we’ll get to see them together again soon.
