Some things just feel like they were meant to happen, and for the Curry family, this week is one of those moments. Seth Curry, the younger brother with the deadly three-point shot, is finally joining Steph Curry on the Golden State Warriors. For fans, it is exciting. For the brothers, it is personal. And if you have ever grown up with a sibling, you know how special it is when your lives finally line up.
Seth’s journey to this point has not been straightforward. He has played for nine NBA teams over 11 seasons, proving himself as one of the league’s most reliable shooters. Steph, meanwhile, has spent over 16 years wowing Warriors fans, breaking records, and making the game look effortless. Now they get to play together. You can already imagine the energy, laughing, joking, celebrating each play, and probably teasing each other in that classic sibling way.

True to form, Seth jokingly tried to buy Steph’s iconic No. 30 jersey when he joined the team. “I tried to buy it from him. He said he did not need the money. I do not think the NBA would like it either,” Seth said with a laugh. In the end, he will wear No. 31. It is a small detail, but it feels fitting, connected yet still doing his own thing.
Watching them together on the court is a reminder of why basketball is more than just a game. Steph’s experience and leadership, combined with Seth’s shooting, makes the Warriors stronger. It is also just really cool to see two brothers working side by side. From childhood games in Charlotte to NBA arenas, it has been a long journey. Now they get to make new memories together at the highest level.

It is the small moments that stand out: warmups, high-fives, subtle smiles after a good play. Those things make it clear this is more than just a reunion. It is about family, shared history, and finally getting to experience something you have worked toward together.
For the Warriors, for the Currys, and for fans everywhere, the new Splash Brothers are finally on the same team. Watching them play, it is hard not to be excited for what comes next.
