In sports, rivalries are like no other. People will go as far as avoiding being friends with other people if they're in favor of a rival team. One rivalry considered among the best in sports, specifically baseball, is between the San Francisco Giants and the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The MLB regular season is in full swing and there have been stars who are already standing out. The first Major League Baseball game was a pitching showdown with the New York Yankees against the San Francisco Giants in Oracle Park. In the first game of the season, the Yankees defeated the Giants 7-0, but the second game of the series stood out, and that's because of New York's starting pitcher, Cam Schlittler.

They began their season by sweeping the San Francisco Giants 3-0 and have recently won their series against the Seattle Mariners, 2-1, and the Miami Marlins, 2-1. New York has an incredible starting rotation, but one that stands out from the rest is Max Fried.

With the World Baseball Classic coming to an end, and Venezuela taking the championship home, there were a lot of teams that stood out. We saw many underdogs and intense games throughout the tournament, where we thought we had a set-in-stone winner. There were games such as USA vs. Italy, where we thought USA would win easily, but it went the other way. One game in particular that turned a lot of heads was Venezuela versus Japan.
