If there's one thing us National Hockey League (NHL) fans know about the NHL off-season, is that it’s typically described as being a massive wedding celebration. Summer weddings are in full swing for a great deal of our favorite hockey players.

With the regular season (82 game) schedule and the added time from the playoffs, hockey players and their fiances typically look to tie the knot in the months of June, July and August. That being said, halfway through July, the NHL off-season has seen eight different wedding nuptials and seven players proposing to their girlfriends around the league.

Many teammates and their significant others have let fans in on the fun as they shared lovely photographs and videos from weddings they have attended so far.

The Girard Wedding

Samuel Girard, Colorado Avalanche defenceman, recently tied the knot with longtime partner Jacklyn Jorgensen. Although photos of the Girard wedding are not sprinkled over social media, both Girard and his now-wife, celebrated their love and happiness during a private ceremony.

The Barrie Wedding

Tyson Barrie, Nashville Predators defenceman, exchanged vows to longtime girlfriend Emma Rose on July 8, 2023, in Victoria, British Columbia. They started dating in 2016 and announced their engagement in 2020. In July of 2021, Barrie and his fiance welcomed their son, Leo William Barrie.

Barrie has played on many teams in his 12 seasons in the league, most notably with Colorado Avalanche, Toronto Maple Leafs and Edmonton Oilers. During his time with each team, he has made multiple friendships with fellow teammates.

The Barrie’s celebrated their love and

commitment in a stunning ceremony that was accompanied by an impressive guest list featuring NHL stars such as Sidney Crosby, Connor McDavid, Nathan MacKinnon, Mitch Marner, Mike Smith, Darnell Nurse, Zac Hyman, Luke Schenn, etc.

The Binnington Wedding

Jordan Binnington, St. Louis Blues goaltender, married partner Cristine Prosperi at The Arlington Estate in Vaughan, Ontario on July 7, 2023. Prosperi is a Canadian actress who is most notably known for her role in the popular television series Degrassi as Imogen Moreno.

Prosperi and Binnington’s relationship originally dates back all the way to 2019 when the Blues won the Stanley Cup. They got engaged at the beginning of September 2021.

The couple chose to add Hollywood flair and glamor to their celebration while keeping the ceremony classic as ever with arrangements of greenery and white flowers. The guest list of the Binnington wedding featured current and former Blues stars Jordan Kyrou, Robert Thomas, David Perron, Sammy Blais, Colton Parayko, etc. A few Degrassi cast members who Prosperi acted with were in attendance as well.

Samson Reinhart, Florida Panthers forward, married his partner Jessica Jewell on July 7, 2023. Highlighted by people.com, the Reinhart wedding is one for the ages. The wedding took place at the Hummingbird Nest Ranch in Santa Susana, California.

In the exclusive look into the Reinhart wedding, Jewell mentioned California will always have a place in their hearts, “California has always held a special place in our hearts. We spend a lot of time in Palm Springs and Hummingbird Nest really emulates that picturesque mountain scape we were looking for.”

The theme of their wedding was inspired by

the mountains in the background as the

Reinharts surrounded the venue with ethereal neutrals of all white flowers and natural materials.

Jewell and Reinhart’s romance started in March 2020. Their relationship started right before the pandemic happened, although they met for the first time in January of 2020. They got engaged on December 24th, 2021.

Kevin Hayes, St. Louis Blues forward, married partner Katya Vasilyev on July 16, 2023 with round two to their celebrations coming soon.

There is not much regarding their relationship online but from the looks of their wedding, they were surrounded by love on their special day. They got married at the Holy Epiphany Russian Orthodox Church in Boston, Massachusetts.

The Stephenson Wedding

Chandler Stephenson, Las Vegas Golden Knight forward, tied the knot with lifelong partner Tasha Maltman on July 8, 2023. Winning the 2023 Stanley Cup, the Stephenson’s had a lot to celebrate at their wedding. They had multiple Golden Knights teammates attending the wedding.

In 2015, Stephenson met his wife through mutual friends in her hometown of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and have been inseparable ever since. They got engaged on October 28, 2020. The couple also welcomed their son, Ford Thomas Stephenson, on May 22, 2022.

The Stephenson wedding had a timeless feeling to it as it featured classic greenery and white flowers. They added pops of black in their color scheme through the wedding party looks. The overall wedding was very minimalistic.

The Lettieri Wedding

A player who has endured a lot in his short career, Vinni Lettieri, Minnesota Wild forward, married his partner, Cassandra Bunks, on July 8, 2023 in Minnesota at Bavaria Downs.

Again, the Lettieri’s are another wedding couple who added a lot of timeless pieces to their wedding. Her all white bouquet pulled her wedding look and the wedding in itself together. The pops of blue hydrangeas they added onto their reception tables was a great way to add to the color scheme but still keep the classic look.

The couple met in 2020 according to Instagram and have been together ever since. Lettieri proposed to Bunks on July 16, 2022.

At the Lettieri wedding, there were many NHL faces in attendance including his former Anaheim Ducks teammates Trevor Zegras and Jamie Drysdale.

The Seguin Wedding

Tyler Seguin, Dallas Stars forward, tied the knot

with girlfriend Kate Kirchof on July 15, 2023 at Albany Hotel Resort in the Bahamas.

The Seguin’s had a classic ceremony, but the rehearsal dinner and reception was a party according to the photos and videos on social media. They had a traditional Bahamas performance (dance tradition) with natives who performed.

Kirchof’s look dress was stunning and matched the wedding theme all together. The guest list included many Stars players along with a bunch of their friends.

Wishing all of the wedding couples a lifetime of love and happiness together.

Along with wedding bells, many players got down on one knee and proposed to their girlfriends this off-season. Here is who will be walking down the aisle possibly next year.
